FLUX Design System.
I led the creation of Banco Pichincha Peru’s Design System to unify design standards, accelerate digital product delivery, and improve collaboration between design and engineering.
The problem
The bank had multiple digital products being developed in parallel, without a shared system of components, visual rules, or clear usage guidelines.This resulted in inconsistent user experiences, constant rework, friction with development teams, and long lead times to design and launch new features.
The Solution
I defined and led the creation of an internal Design System that centralized components, patterns, and visual guidelines, aligning design and development under a shared language.
The system was designed to be:
- Reusable
- Evolvable
- Easy to adopt across different teams within the bank.
This approach ensured consistency while maintaining speed and flexibility.
